Melody is such a compassionate little girl. If she sees someone feeling sad, she'll try to find a way to cheer them up or sympathize with them. For the past few nights when Ethan and the children have started to get ready to leave my house to go to their home, Melody has come into my bedroom and said, "Make sure you shut the light off when you go to bed, but make sure you don't shut the door. Then you won't be lonely." If I show her any emotion or sadness about being lonely in the house, she starts feeling very concerned and she says, "I wish we lived here right now, so that you won't be lonely." Then she says, "I will pray for you right now." She usually prays, "Jesus I thank you that Courtney won't be lonely. In Jesus name Amen."
Love her!
This is the sweetest thing. Can't wait to see you in less than 2 weeks!
