Playdough

This is a GREAT playdough recipe, so I thought I would share. Melody and I added yellow food coloring to make a pastel Easter color. She's having a blast with it!

Squishy Playdough

Mix together in a pot:
2 cups flour
1/2 cup salt
4 teaspoons cream of tartar
2 cups water
2 Tablespoons oil
6-7 Drops of food coloring

Heat the pot on the stove over medium heat, stirring constantly until playdough mixture it forms a ball. As soon as it becomes a big glob, take it off the heat and dump it onto your counter or wax paper. After it cools slightly, knead a few times until soft. Then it's ready for hours of endless fun! Store in a plastic bag-- playdough will remain soft for a long time.
