The latest updates from the Ramsey home:
Our refrigerator broke down! I spent the morning cleaning the old one out and hoping Lowes calls ASAP to tell me they are delivering our new one. A family of 6 cannot go long without a refrigerator! It is a bit disappointing that this is the 3rd major appliance we have had to replace in our house in the months since Audrey was born. This old house! We can be very thankful to God that everything so far is paid off, including the childbirth bills.
Audrey is basically crawling! She has a little practice to do on alternating using her arms to get her going, but I give her a few days till she is completely crawling. Yikes, she is growing SOOOO fast!
Minor (potentially major) neighbor issues made us reevaluate staying in this house for the long-term future. We considered whether we would want to move just outside of town and have a little land. Conclusion: We're going to wait out the issues and pray for peace around our home and family. We just don't want to live outside of town and are not ready for a big move.
I (Courtney) started ballet classes again! There is nothing like pregnancy to set you back a bit, but I'm sure the flexibility and strength will come over time.
I am allergic to water...seriously. Since I was a teenager, I have had issues with my eyelids. They often get very puffy, itchy and dry skin. The discomfort is very comparable to having bad acne. Lately, the condition has lasted for many months without relief. We have finally realized that it's the chlorine or calcium in water that is causing such extreme irritation. For the time being, I've found ways to keep water off my eyelids and there is dramatic improvement. I can't believe all this time and I am just now realizing that the problem was water!
Not too much exciting...
