If Melody has been quiet around the house for a while, you can almost be certain that she is sitting down somewhere with a pen or pencil and writing a book. She wants to be an author/illustrator one day. She has beautiful penmanship and artistic ability, so it is fun to see the creative books she produces. Recently, the very popular children's book author and illustrator, Jan Brett, came to speak and sign books at our local library. The girls were so inspired and excited to meet her! They had so much fun!
