We celebrated on Saturday of Thanksgiving week, because Ethan and other family members worked on Thanksgiving day. We hosted at our home and really had a great evening with the Ramseys-- two of Ethan's brothers and his dad and wife. Over the years, I've learned how to make Thanksgiving day low stress and how to cook a tasty turkey. Along with friends, I've hosted lots of Thanksgivings overseas as well as for some students in Philadelphia. I like to prepare as much food as possible in advance--all I had to cook on the day of was the turkey and the rest I only had to pop in the oven. It was really a nice, relaxing day.
